Tagged : SAHM vs. FTWM

This, is a tag from Milkmaid…

For starters, SAHM = Stay At Home Mom, FTWM = Full Time Working Mom

Well, like any other working mothers, I admit I have went through this over and over again in my mind… I can’t deny that I wish I can be a SAHM… Who doesn’t want to? But if I think again, I’m sure when I am a SAHM, I will go bonkus and wish I have more things to do… Just like when I was in my maternity leave, towards the end of it I was so jumpy due to boredom and not knowing what to do… hahaha… So it’s always a 50-50 thingy, I want both…

1. SAHM : I can be with Rachel all the time, being able to guide and teach her the way I wish I could, and also to prepare her variety of food and nutrition I wish I have been doing.
2. SAHM : I can laze around do nothing until my lazy butt decide to get off and do something.
3. SAHM : I have my freedom to venture into things which I always say I don’t have time to do.

But, my condition to be a SAHM is, I will still have to have a maid…

1. FTWM : Although stressful, I have a place away from home to take my mind off worries sometimes
2. FTWM : I earn my own $$$ and won’t feel as guilty splurging on unneccessary stuff
3. FTWM : I could mingle with other people instead of just being cooped up in the small circle of family and home.

So yeah, I know I didn’t answer the tag accordingly by choosing 1, I will still say, I look forward to being a SAHM, but I will probably only do that when I have a side business or something else for me to look after instead of just home and kids… Maybe a francise of my family’s coffeeshop, or doing something meaningful (like social stuff, if Tecky could earn enough money to allow me the luxury)… But a maid is still a must, because I SUCK MAX at house cleaning task… I love cooking, but I hate cleaning…
