Birthday Bash in Burger King…

Countdown : 5 Days to 1 Year old…

This is a very backdated post. I’m probably one of the last to post… hahaha…
Firstly, I have to say, I was a little dissapointed we forgot to charge the D70’s battery, resulting in half taken photos, somemore the important part of the cake cutting, NO PHOTOS! ISH!!!

So, on the beautiful Saturday (18 May 2007) evening, as we drove into Burger Kings MUTIARA DAMANSARA (hehe, not Hartamas ar, NOT Hartamas), I was a little afraid we were too early (only 3:30pm lar, when the party supposed to start at 4pm)… But, I could see Barbara on the 1st floor of the fast food chain! So happy you know, that we won’t be like jakun walking in and no one there… So, quickly get a parking space (which is very limited) and walk in…

She was SO happy to see Rachel, I bet if she could, she’d be biting on her cheeks… HAHAHA… But Ashley’s (1 of the birthday kiddo) happiness clearly beat the mom, when she couldn’t stop kissing Rachel, and running to and fro from Rachel, resulting in a little sour face in the little one… But it was fun to look at, for the adults (us lar)… Shortly afterwards, I saw Kieran running up, announcing that the daddy, mommy and other birthday girl (Kylie) are downstairs… After a few chats and all, I don’t quite remember who came next, but I remember Tecky telling, MOTT has arrived, and upon looking down, true enough, lugging JinYang on one hand and the pressies and bags on the other, this super woman came up the stairs and quickly gave Rachel her favourit-est thing in the world, can food from where she went recently… We tried leh, of course curi a bit while making one for Rachel lar, and it’s really yummilicious… Oh, I forgot to mention, Nadia which couldn’t make it due to Chicken Pox was there to pass over her pressies, but I couldn’t go down, which means we’ll have to plan something to meet up yeah…

Wah, so long story, why? Because those are the things I remember… After that, when adults and children started piling in, I don’t remember who I saw who I talk to liao… But I remember when Yvonne came with baby Ryan, she was most probably looking around for familiar faces… HEHEHE… It was great to meet this lenglui mommy leh, first time mar…
Oh, THIS LADY (Sasha lar) came so late, by that time, we also eating liao! hahaha…

The whole party was fun, and a great gathering for us yeah… Just that there are SO MANY people, that I think I didn’t talk to each and everyone of them… So many other bloggers were around, I just can’t list them all… Sue was there with kiddos, MommyOf2Angels came with both her angels, Jazzmint was there with Mr Hon and kiddos, and BabyKhong and the whole Khong Family were there too (which I met for the first time), Angeleyes too (first time leh) with Darrius and her parents, and oh, how could I forget, Tracy the not-so-new SAHM with Des, and Egghead with the famous LLS and very tired looking J (all LLS’s fault yeah), and Allyfeel with adorable Guang-Liang-lookalike Ivan & Daddy… Wah, this list is long, and my head really spinning liao… SO MANY lar… I hope I didn’t miss any…. If I did, let me know…
UPDATE: This forgetful me ar, trying to go over and over the photos, to see who I missed, then when ANGIE commented, then only I realise, I don’t have her photos lar, cuz by the time she arrive, camera oledi out of battery… I remember I was go glad to see her, because seeing her means the lengchai Oscar is feeling better from the on going fever the days before… And the cutie pie, when asked about how he’s feeling, he tells me “much better, thanks”… SO KIUT!! And I totally forgot about it! *slap forehead*

I don’t know about Rachel, but I sure had fun meeting up with everyone…

Oh, I have to also say, I suspect that due to the clown, little Rachel woke up in the middle of the night, CRYING and WAILING and SCREAMING and CRYING and crying and crying… No matter what I did, she couldn’t stop (we suspect it’s nightmare lar), and it took her maybe a good 30 minutes before she cooled down from the sobbing and finally dozed off… I must say, though she’s nearly 1, I have no heard many of her real cries, mostly fake ones, which stops instantly when she gets what she wants… This time, it was a real one, which made her sob and sob for so long, I also sakit hati…

Now, there’s 135 MB of photos, and I just can’t fit everyone into the editing… And so many photos, until I also don’t know which to choose, but lets just keep it simple, just to show everyone how Rachel felt about the party…
