My luck with BANKS!!! – HLB this time…

I don’t know what luck I have with banks this month… I bet you must be wondering, wah, making it up meh? I damn BENGANG!!! First, it was with the KAMPUNG-bank… Now, with HLB!!!
Fine Sunday morning… I wanna go withdraw money lar… Look see look see, that guy stand there so long, don’t care, use another ATM… Masuk card, tit-tit-tut-tut key in the pin, then wanna withdraw money lar… Waited and waited and waitED, suddenly say transaction failed, no slip NOTHING… So I try again… (RM1000 each try)… Still failed… So I went to work (yeah, Sunday got open day mar)…
After work I went again, this time I got my RM1000, but but BUT, when I check the balance on the slip, MY BALANCE HAD DECREASED BY RM2000 FROM THE 2 FAILED TRANSACTIONS JUST NOW!!!
Wah, gelabah or not you tell me… Angry and panic at the same time… Knocking my head too, why try 2nd time… ISH! So I call and call the 24 hour customer service lar… Call 30 minutes oni get through… Conversation with customer relation personnel (Fiza <– must put down name so I will remember in the future when asked) goes like this:
ME: I wanna report bla bla bla…
HER: You just have to go to any HLB branch tomorrow, and fill up a form… After investigation, the amount will be refunded back…
ME: Please tell me other possible way of handling this, because I’ll have to take leave to go to your bank again tomorrow, and this is causing me inconvenience because of the bank’s inefficiency…
HER: I’ll get the branch manager to call you tomorrow (!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
ME: Fine, does this happen all the time?
HER: You’re the first caller to report this today…
ME: Meaning it happened before?
HER: Yes, all the time…
Wahlau… Not first time, but didn’t bother to fix the bug? Somemore want me to take time off work to go fill up form? Can’t they be more efficient? I am making a report… REPORT it and get them to check… What do you need from me? You check your balance in the ATM machine, check the transaction in the ATM machine, ALL I CANNOT ACCESS isn’t it? But you still need me to go fill up form? GERAM-NYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE… I don’t care, I am NOT going to go… You don’t need my signature to ask you to check the transactions records of the ATM machine… You don’t need my signature to access my account…
I’m afraid to think what is the next bad experience I will be having with other banks…

y don’t u just send an email? I think this is good enough..no need to fill up form.
Wah… bad bad experience with banks wor. And worse thing is most of them are the same, so no matter which bank you switch to, sure got problem wan…
Hope you can settle it soon, money matters man…

Waloa… if me sure freak out big time. RM2000 there!!! Some more said after investigation only refund. They better expedite the investigation… Good luck.
Hey Shannon, this post is soooo funny to me…ha ha…you know why? Becoz I used to work in a bank and was in charge of ATM machines!!!
It happens, believe me, and you usually (most of the time) get your money back. Just need to fill up a form and if its interbank, give a couple of days for the money to be credited back. And now you know why I don’t trust ATM machines!!!
I had this sort of experience with AmBank, while paying my car installment through Teller Machine, the machine suddenly “hang” and said “transaction error” but the machine already accepted my RM800 and just didn’t print me the receipt. So i went to counter and reported my case, but you know what the staff’s response? He said “Why don’t you pay your car through counter since the counter not so many people are queueing there? You’re so bad luck. ” I was very angry and asked him “then what for you put the machine there but is out of function? So now what should i do?” He requested me to fill in the form and waited for their internal checking first, before i leaving the counter, this man even said something that’s most irritating “i am not sure whether you can get back your RM800 or not, if possible you better pay ANOTHER RM800 into your account. You know la, we have to depend the honesty of the security guard too, if the guard is honest then maybe your money will be safe.” OMG…did i hear it wrong?? The sentences is out from the bank officer, can you believe? As i being told, this always happens…

HL is always POC, just like it’s parent company DAOHENG…which is DBS bank SG. Known for cockups,messup etc.
WHY? They all have the SAF attitude, Serve and F-off
I’ve never had this problem with RHB …so far..except when incoming TT, love to be delayed by BNM.

PS:U got so much money, put it in a FD lah cik kak! Then apply for Overdraft or Credit facility instead. I did just that.So at least I won’t itchy backside go pit-pit-pit every now and then (the local petronas guys call it ” me go rompak bank”)

I have this problem with Maybank too.
But luckily it’s solved automatically after 30 mins.
I go to the atm and withdraw RM1500.
Also say transaction failed.
So i leave. and later on, found out that my RM1500 missing. But few minutes i check again, RM1500 has been refunded automatically while i was talking to the customer care. They say should be the atm out of cash.
That’s why.
