Tagged : The list of songs when I was 18…

Siwwypig tag me, hoping that this will cheer me up a little… Well, I do admit, at least it took my mind off my bad days, back to when I was 18 and trying hard to remember wat songs I was listening to that time… hahaha…
That year, 1997, sigh… 1997 was THE year, that made a lot of impact on my life and me, as I am today… It was the year that my dad got sick from brain infection and went into coma before waking up not recognising anyone of us, then slowly got better but was in a constant risk of fits… Well, a very depressing year, drastic changes in everything, but I wouldn’t be who I am today, if it wasn’t for that year…

Anyway, this is what she wanted me to do:

1. Go to PopCulture site.
2. Pick the year you turn 18 years old.
3. Get yourself nostalgic over the songs that year.
4. Write something about how those songs affected you.
5. Pass it on to five more friends.

Here’s the list of songs I remember…

1. I Believe In You And Me – Whitney Houston (I use to love driving around alone and singing and singing this song, when I was suddenly depressed)
2. All By Myself – Celine Dion (Due to the fact of 1997 I wrote above, I felt VERY alone that year, so the lyrics got to me, and I couldn’t stop singing it)
3. UnBreak My Heart - Toni Braxton (I love the chorus… Somehow, due to the same fact above, I like singing this song, like wanna tell God to please unbreak my heart, please undo what has happened)
4. Song 2 - Blur (wahaha… reminds me of a friend that was humming this song at the corner of the exam room, while everyone was trying to answer the questions, and he didn’t realise he was humming it out loud)
5. Candle In The Wind – Elton John (What else? I think of Princess Diana)

So there, the 5 songs I remember the feelings when I go through the list… Lots more, but you only wanted 5 mar… hahaha…
