Dispute with HLB (part… I don’t know anymore)
Yeah, that’s right… I have lost count… and I’m getting VERY pissed off, even more when I don’t know who else I can talk to which will actually listen… Whoever big shot that works in HONG LEONG BANK MALAYSIA, google this, find this and solve it… Else I talk bad about Hong Leong Bank from now on, double the amount I have talk good about HLB for the pass 7 years…
Yes! I’ve been a loyal customer to HLB, though not much in account balance, but I have all my current, savings, FD with them… INCLUDING RACHEL’S SAVINGS ACCOUNT!!! This is not a threat, but I WILL CLOSE ALL ACCOUNTSSSSSSSSSS THERE!!!!
OK, now let me explain… My 2 transactions which was failed, I did around 8am… Stupid ATM machine down right? Went offline right after… So, that’s what I reported… After being pushed around for a week, MIL said she’ll go talk with those people, cuz she’s a frequent customer of the KOTA KEMUNING HLB branch… You know what they told her?THE TIME SHE REPORTED AND THE TIME RECORDED IN THE TRANSACTION DIFFERS, SO THERE’S A DISPUTE AND THEREFORE CASE HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO HQ!
Sh*theads! Of course there’s a dispute… How could you base on the 2 transactions, when the 2 transactions by themselves ARE the transaction that is in dispute now? Those are the ERROR a.k.a WRONG a.k.a SALAH a.k.a PROBLEMATIC transactions!!! Which part doesn’t they get? Think logically, when questioned, they told me that BOTH the transaction took place at the same time, to the exact seconds… HOW, please oh wise one, tell me did I manage to do 2 withdrawal transactions at the exact same time? And you still trust that time? BRAINLESS or whot? Now, I have to wait for I DON’T KNOW WHO (I hope this fella will have brain to at least see the illogical claims these people have, and question them, ar? like this also u need me to step in ar?)…
If it’s RM20, I don’t mind, but RM2000 leh!!!! Lucky I have milk powder stock up for Rachel, else I SUE them cuz my daughter got no milk to drink I tell you!!!!!!!!!! STUPID HONG LEONG BANK people… I can’t describe my anger other than with %$#@$%#@!!!
UPDATE: Well, NOW they say that there’s no excess cash in the ATM machine, that everything tallied… Asked to see CCTV, cannot… Now pending their IT personnel to check wor… I also don’t know anymore lar… And thanks mott, I will check with u as soon as I get an answer from their IT personnel… If still disputed ar, Tecky say we bring to Bank Negara, Nadia say report police, I have MOTT and my uncle and aunts and lots more other people that know c-something-o (like MOTT say) in HLB, I DON’T CARE, I’m going to make a big fuss over this… So we cross fingers and wait wait wait…

Does not matter if it is a baby girl or a boy, potty training should ideally begin at 16months. Training the baby with a distraction like a toy or a baby hat might speed up the learning process.

I don’t get it. If there are already only 2 problematic transactions, it would be easy to do a check on the cash balance for that day, to see if they have extra Rm2000 (Which means the money wasn’t dispensed out).
Do u still have the transaction slips? Or nothing was dispensed? U still wanna complain to HQ or not? Don’t worry..that C-something-O is my fren one….

Maybe they thought you were lying?? hahahaha. What I may do is make a police report on this so that they (the bank) can follow up closely and assured that it is not a scam.
But yeah, if all fails, mamabok and mott seems to be able to help you.
Goodness gracious! They have the cctv recordings, so I think they would be able to see if you’ve taken the cash out of ATM (physically holding the wad of money). If they’re still sooo stoopid and keep insisting that the ATM is correct, then I guess mamabok and/or mott would be able to help you. If that one also cannot help, then I really don’t know what to say.
Wow, so serious! What takes them so long to even investigate. Sigh!
The worse is there’s nothing to prove it since that blardy machine didn’t even give you a transaction slip. And I don’t understand what these stoopid banks install the CCTVs for if no one can view it except the security guard who’s asleep when no one’s watching. Makes me think keeping money under our mattress is better than banks lah… that way, no dispute, see when they “chap lup” (brankrupt) laaa…

This is too much! So unprofessional of them. RM2000 is no joke!!

It happened to be 3 or 4 years back, the amount involved was less than you, was RM600 or RM700, I can’t even remember now. It happened during a weekend, when I called the Maybank hotline, they asked me to lodge a report on Monday. I did, 2 months later, got a letter said everything was tallied, and cash was dispensed!
I lodged a report with the stupid bank bureau, the stupid Datin something asked me to fill up a 3-4 pages questionaire, including a question that asked: did you notice anybody beside you when you did the withdrawl? I answered no, and I was in a hurry because my niece was waiting for me in the car. (and excuse me, it was 3 months ago!) But, her conclusion is: it’s not a valid claim since I could have mistakenly/forgotten to take the dispensed cash, since I was in a hurry.
That was the most stupid answer I got, i.e. whether I have RM600 or not I didn’t realise?!!
I was too tired to pursue any further with this stupid people, just close the accounts and stop dealing with them.

It happened to me today at atm maybank in skudai. after i keyed in the amount the screen displays transaction cancelled…..RM1300….but when i checked my balance later today…the money has been deducted….
so i made a police report right away….no receipt no nothing…..How do i pursue this? Must i get a warrant to get a copy of the cctv…this sux big time….its like we dont have the power to do anything i bet this has been going on for years….i heard they fold the edges of the notes so sometimes the amount withdrawn is less…then the person collecting the money….will says everything is tallied….bullshit…!!!! im going to close my maybank….their service is the worst…..
i got the same problem exactly like u all!!! they also asked me to make complaint to FMB(Financial bureau) and asked me to fill the stupid questionnaire form. What should we do next? Should we make a police report & request to view the CCTV?
HLB never take care of their customer.
I have dispute my credit card on Jan 2008, and i never received any call or mail from them. i had called to their customer service many time to check the status and ask them to keep update me by call. the CS lady said yes..yes…yes..yes…yes…yes.., WTF, yes! till now i dun even received one call from your f*cking guy
