Ready for Num2???
Clothes for Num2 has been sorted out, drawers are set aside, playpen sun-ed and ready… I am not sure if we missed out anything important, but then I guess we’ll definitely have time to get things done…
What?
Labour bag? Err, no lar… It’s OK, Tecky will be able to prepare it…
Labour plan? Well, Rachel will have Tina to care for, and they’ll probably be in my mom’s…
Stem cell? I guess we are not going to sign up?
Baby bottles? Well, I bought them, yet to be sterilised…
Diapers? Erm, I think the hospital will have la…
Confinement? URGH!!! A month to face jail…
… Any reminder of things to be done are truly welcomed! Anyone???
So, what about Rachel?
She has been showing positive signs so far…
Definitely a big sister in the making… As she’s always going on about how she’ll “teach baby things that I know” and “if baby naughty I will tell her cannot” etc…
There was this once, Num2 kicked me SO HARD I had a shock and shouted out loud… Rachel, being caring, instantly came up to me asking me “Mommy, are you alright?” and when I told her it was just baby kicking me too hard, she turned, stared ANGRILY at my tummy and shouted “baby AAARRRR! Don’t hurt mommy!”…
Also, for the record, Rachel have been going around looking for a soft toy for baby (her gift for Num2 upon birth) and has decided since day 1 that she was going to get baby an elephant (don’t ask me why)… So, we were in Pyramid the other day, and she found this elephant which she liked, and decided she’ll get that for baby… Well, she paid for it (with my money of course), but she went to the counter herself, paid for it herself, took the change and held the bag herself the whole time… When Irfan wanted to see what’s in the bag, she VERY quickly closed the bag and ran away, shouting NOOOOOOOO all the way, being protective of “HER present for HER baby” (her exact words)… She had since put the gift nicely in baby’s drawer, waiting for baby to be born…

Oh, before I forgot, my not-so-little-anymore little girl asked me the other day with lots of concern on her face, “Mommy, when baby is big enough, baby will come out right? Doctor will help baby come out right? Will you be painful??”… Well, I just told her it would be, but well, I’ll be fine, cuz I went through it when she came out from my womb too… 
Awww.. so sweet to see the gift from Rachael. I should do the same to make Num1 feel special eh

Why she choose elephant? my wild guess is coz once u all discuss bout name for no 2 and Elly Huan (elephant) came up?? hahahahahaaha

Awww Rachel is so sweet!! That’s definitely a big plus when the age gap is a little bigger.

I have yet to prepare everything too… it is more or less kinda thing. I also asked Darrius to select what he wants to give to mei-mei so we decided to get the stuff though I know he has the slightest idea what is going on… hahahaha he is so selfish… so I have to make sure it is not a toy so he won’t snatch it later on. And his daddy bought something for him which will be given from mei-mei (something he really wanted) so hopefully he will ‘love’ mei-mei.
Don’t know which one of us will deliver first, so wishing you a smooth delivery!
