Family,
Rachel Huan
I must admit that I made the choices in this room (with all the surfing of children room decoration and setup online) more than she did… I’m not sure if I’ve said this before, but when it came to choosing of wall colour, she repeatly pointed to a dirty yellow colour, and said she liked that one… NO WAY I was going to paint ANY of the wall in the house the colour she chose, so being the selfish parent I am, I totally disregarded her comments and painted the room pink, a colour that I probably wouldn’t have chosen, for my own room…

Rachel’s room…
We have also got the strip wallpaper (what do you even call it actually?) of Winnie the Pooh, and well, “AHEM!” I did the sticking on (surprisingly, SUPER easy)… Though a little pricey (RM50 or so per 10 metre), it did wonders to the room, and the little one… She can’t stop going on and on about “got eeyore, got pooh-pooh, got tiger (she calls him tiger instead of tigger), got piglet, got rabbit, got eeyore, got pooh-pooh, got tiger, got piglet, got …………..” (you get the picture)… With the curtains and everything, the room did look pretty cosy I must say…Too bad the strip was a little too short, so we are going to get her wardrobe (we are still searching) and then skip those walls behind the wardrobe to finish up the room…

Where it all ends, FOR NOW!!!
Rachel can’t stop going on and on about “Chel like Chel’s new house a lot a lot. Chel like Chel’s room“…

When is my backdated post going to end?
20th December 2008, Aeon Mall Bukit Tinggi – We heard about Elmo & friends coming to town from the radio and since Rachel is so much into Elmo now, we decided to bring her over…
Before we left, we did debated on whether or not to bring along the camera, but decided that the scary cat wouldn’t go on stage, so we decided to forget about it… HOW WRONG WERE WE?! She stood there happily watching the show, and then when it was time for the kids to queue up for photo taking, she wanted to go on stage!!!
So after dinner, we went again to wait, and this time, to take a picture, with my phone! But the little one came down crying, saying “chel did not hug elmo!”… DAMN kesian… haha… Well, since then, she’ll occasionally call herself ELMO! So now we have Rachel ‘Elmo’ Huan yeah? haha…

Well, Tina had to go up too, cuz the scary cat wanted a companion, and Tina is well, another big kid!

29th November 2008 – The BIG day for the brother in law…
(that’s how long all my posts are pending too)…
It wasn’t really a good photography experience, as you can’t really detached yourself from being apart of the family and concentrate one just taking photos… I have to admit, I gave up half way through, since there is a professional photographer there to be taking everything (or supposed to, since I haven’t really saw his photos)…
That said, I was surprised at how little photos I took of the day, and dissapointed at how I did not actually have the whole day’s ‘story’ to show, through the photos (which was what I usually aim for, in a wedding shoot like this)…I do think bro in law was a tad disappointed with the pics, but well, I’m glad there is the professional photos for backup… haha…

The car we ‘borrowed’ from a cousin-uncle (the same one that lend us our wedding car)…
It’s actually the same car plate number as our wedding car!

The second car…
I actually like this decor more than the main car, haha…

Hand bouquet – partly ruined by groom, whom did not put water to keep the flower fresh!

Off to pick up his bride…
Please do not be fooled by FIL’s fierce look, it’s just his look when taking pics, somehow…

The entourage…
We parked ourselves nicely, waiting for them to come, but too bad, a trailer came along and blocked ALL the view…
What more, it was difficult to snap a pic of all the cars in a row, because THEY DID NOT DRIVE IN A ROW!

Heading towards the bride’s…

There he goes…

I sneaked in to take a pic or 2 of her waiting…

Are you ready?

Declaration of love…

Signed off…

We were laughing more than taking photos…

Finally…

Stealing a kiss…

We headed to a park nearby to take some photos, while waiting for the caterer to be ready…

The bride and her sister…

I love the pavement…
I think my passion for wedding photography is slowly dying, seeing that the results from my snapping does not even meet my own expectation, making me even more afraid to take on the responsibility, just in case I screw up their big day! Really need more practice… Anyone willing to be my guinea pigsss???
